What happens when you skillfully pair American Shingle style architecture with clean, contemporary lines? A result that’s a perfect match in terms of client desire: tradition with a twist, understated elegance, and two equally spacious master suites (one for the owners, one for guests).
For Prestige, the mix of materials were well served by our craft expertise: exterior elements include slate, copper, Western Red cedar, and Corinthian granite. Inside: tight-grained Douglas fir for doors, cabinets, and trim. On the floor: rustic v-groove white oak. In the bathrooms: Jerusalem Gold limestone. In the kitchen: Absolute Black granite.
Of special construction note: Given that the steeply sloped site was heavily wooded, job site access (and utility installation) was challenging. For security, a complete backup generator system was installed.
