Capitol Hill: compact condominium kitchen
As one of Seattle’s highly prized urban residential neighborhoods, Capitol Hill attracts those for whom an eclectic mix of just about anything—including housing—appeals.
Nonetheless, the owner of this 1960s era condominium was less than satisfied with both the size and the style of their kitchen. By reworking the space to improve efficiency and replacing all fixtures and surfaces, a new perspective emerged: flush cherry cabinets with recessed pulls, floating cherry shelves, stainless-steel backsplash, architectural concrete countertops, and bamboo flooring.
Of special construction note: Working in a multi-family building has its challenges. At all times, the Prestige team was respectful of shared condo access, common mechanical paths for plumbing & venting, parking, protective barriers, noise management and general logistics.
